Imphal, Jul 28:
In all, 300 vehicles including goods carriers and passenger buses which have been stranded near Mao Gate, following the bandh called by Naga People's Organisation from midnight of July 26 to midnight of July 27 and again the ACTIP-sponsored 24 hour general strike which came into effect from 6 pm yesterday, were brought to Imphal under security escort today.
The vehicles which arrived at Imphal safely include 263 loaded trucks, 4 LPG carriers, 6 passenger buses and 27 oil tankers.
The vehicles were stranded at Mao Gate.
