Imphal, January 27: A control room in respect of Imphal East district for the ensuing 9th manipur Legislative Assembly elections has been opened with immediate effect in the office of DC/District Election Officer, Imphal East for dissemination of election-related information.

Conveying that the district�s SDC L Sukumar Singh will supervise functioning of the control room, a statement issued by the DC/DEO also informed that the control room could be accessed through the telephone Nos 2228387, 2406010 and 2406013 (fax).

Further information to and from Imphal East district police on election-related matters may be obtained/ conveyed through Tele Nos.2225790 (SP/IE), 2452269 (Control Room) and 2441404 (OC).
