Water tank caves in, 2 hurt

Imphal, Jul 24: Two persons were hurt when the newly constructed water tank at Paona Keithel near RK Book House caved in today at around 4:35 pm.

The two individuals are identified as Mogelal (25) of Bihar and his younger brother Dharmendra (18).It is reported that Mogelal deals in watch and his brother in sandals/shoes at a place just south of the tank.

Passers-by informed that some other persons were also hurt in the tank collapse.

The tank was constructed for temporary use by the labours involved in construction of Ima Keithel.
