Imphal, September 21: The proscribed RPF/PLA has refuted any relation whatsoever between the outfit and Ningombam Birjitkumar (31) and Paonam Dhanabir (31) of Pishum Ningom Leirak arrested by a combined force of Imphal West commandos and troops of 32 AR from Kwakeithel Huidrom Leikai at about 11.30 pm of September 16 on the charge of being PLA cadres.

A press release issued by the RPF's Assistant Chief of Communication and Publicity further clarified that they (Birjitkumar and Dhanabir) were never asked to collect money for the outfit.
