Imphal, August 14 2010: A voluntary blood donation camp on the occasion of Independence Day was organised by 12 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) in collaboration with LIONS CLUB, Imphal at RIMS Hospital on August 13 .

Commandant 12 Assam Rifles attended the event as Chief Guest and gave an introductory speech highlighting the relevance of donating blood for social cause.

On voluntary basis Commandant, Officers, two JCOs and 20 other Ranks donated their blood alongwith civilians.
