Imphal, Jul 11: Setting the record straight in connection with the seniority question list and the promotion on is basis to the posts of Deputy Directors-in-charge, the Agriculture Department today said that as per the R/R of 1980, a sub-quota of 40 pc from the cadres of AO possession BSc Agri/Hort with 6 years regular service in the grade is set aside while 60 pc is set aside for AOs possessing BSc Agri/Hort with MSc Agri/Hort with 4 years regular service.

This is the criteria worked out for promotion to the post of Dy Director.

According to this rule three AOs whose date of eligibility is 28/10/ 1992 have been promoted to the posts of Deputy Directors-in-charge, said a source.

The eligibility date for the others is 28/10/1994.
