Imphal, October 10 2009:
Chandel Naga Peoples' Organisation (CNPO) and Naga Students' Union, Chandel (NSUC) have decided to extend full support and co-operation towards ensuring free and fair conduct of the DPC for recruitment of primary teachers under Autonomous District Council, Chandel tomorrow.
In a statement, NSUC president Ts Warshing has also categorically stated that the local candidates residing permanently in Chandel district must be given preference in the said recruitment.
As the DPC falls on Sunday, the bus owners have also been urged to continue their daily service in the interest of the people of Chandel district.
