Imphal, December 08 2010:
A division office of the Electricity Department located at Dibong Khunou in Jiribam was set aflame by some miscreants at around 9.30 pm yesterday, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
Timely arrival of fire tenders, however, managed to save the office from total destruction.
Good including furniture, ceiling fans, files, etc have been destroyed in the fire.
An FIR has been lodged with the Jiri Police Station in connection with the incident.
