Thoubal, October 08 2025: In continuation of EcoNetwork Manipur's Go Green Go Clean Campaign, Self-Help Groups of Heirok Part II Thokchom Leikai collected plastic wastes for recycling today.

The gathered plastic garbage was then handed over to Ashok Traders for recycling in exchange for cash, according to a press release issued by Shinthangamba Laishram.

Today's effort marks the 36th instalment of plastic waste collection drive under the campaign.

Speakingin this connection, Khundrakpam Ibem thanked both EcoNetwork and Ashok Traders.

Urging collective effort to turn "waste into wealth", she sought the help of SHGs and meira paibis to achieve the goal of a clean Manipur.
