Imphal, February 15: Two earthquakes were felt in Manipur today one at 4.45 pm and the other at 6.36 pm.

Seismological Observatory of MU reported that the first quake had its epicentre at Thanlon sub-division and the magnitude recorded was 4.5 while the second had its epicentre at the northern part of Tengnoupal with a magnitude of 4.9.Moderate quakes were also recorded in other parts of the North East States, including Assam, Manipur and Meghalaya.
