Imphal, August 25: The transfer and posting of 10 IAS officers have been effected following an order issued by the Government today.

Accordingly, Additional Chief Secretary of Forest & Environment Saichuana would take over the additional charge of Works in additional to his present charges and Principal Secretary of Home & Works AE Ahmed would be in charge of Home only.

Commissioner of Higher and Technical Education P Saratchandra who is also in charge of Ex-officio Director Education (U) would look after the Revenue only while Commissioner RK Angousana would take over the charge as the Project Director of SSA and Education (S).

Commissioner SK Deb Burman who is presently in charge of Education (S) would be relieved of his present post and take over the Social Welfare and Sericulture.

Commissioner L Ibomcha, who is presently in charge of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and Revenue would look after the Rural and Panchayati Raj only.

Over and above his present charges as Commissioner of Co-operation/Labour & Employees, Letkho-gin Haokip would be given the additional charge of Agriculture.

Commissioner of Sericulture/MI Binod Kispotta who is Secretary to CM would take over the charge of Higher & Technical Education and ex-officio Director of Education (U).
