Imphal, June 29: Taking forward the quality education drive and welfare activities of the students, volunteers of DESAM, Imphal East District Council and Kongba Local Council today distributed exercise books to the students of Nongmeibung Primary School free of cost.

During an interaction with the headmaster of the school who appreciated the gesture of the students' body, the volunteers learnt that the said school which has class from 1 to V has 11 staff and 39 students but does not have adequate chairs and tables nor toilet facilities.
