Imphal, June 27:
Imphal West police personnel seized about 227 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor from a shop at MG Avenue today at about 8.40 pm.
The IMFL bottles include different brands of whisky and rum as well as gin.
Four cases of beer were also seized.
Imphal West SP S Ibocha personally supervised the seizure.
The SP informed that the seized liquor would be handed over to the Excise Dept.
The owner of the shop from where the IMFL bottles were seized has been identified as Chandu of Bihar.
Two persons, Raja Ram (22) and Ashok Mondal were picked up at the time of the seizure.
Both are from Bihar.
