Imphal, January 13: Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh today laid the foundation stone for construction of a 72 bedded youth hostel near Churachandpur College and assured to make the district headquarters a model town.

Delivering his speech as chief guest for laying the foundation stone of the Rs 2.20 crore hostel construction, Ibobi said that Imphal to Churachandpur road would be repaired to develop the district headquarters to a model town for which the Government has already envisaged a plan.
