Dimapur, April 29: Two top ranking cadres of the proscribed Kuki Revolutionary Army along with three other accomplices have been arrested by Dimapur police.

Following the arrest, Dimapur police is set to intimate the Manipur police on Monday with regard to the arrest of the two top KRA functionaries along with three other accomplices.

Superintendent of Police, Dimapur Bidhu Shekhar informed Newmai News Network this evening in Dimapur that intensive interrogation of the KRA leaders is underway.

The police officer said that they will intimate the Manipur police on Monday to check if they have any case against the arrested KRA leaders in Manipur and accordingly things will proceed.

Finance secretary of the KRA Thanglem Haokip alias Athang who is said to be 35 years old was arrested by the Dimapur police on Friday night alongwith another KRA leader and their three other accomplices.

The other KRA leader has been identified as Chunglinlun Shingsit alias Boboi (32).The three accomplices have been identified as David (22), Poujang Hanshing (38) and Sheikam Chongloi (33).They were nabbed by the police while travelling in a Scorpio jeep in Dimapur last night, according to the Dimapur SP.
