Imphal, September 28: All Tribal Women Organisation (ATWO), Chandel district has demanded removal of the 3rd IRB post from Molnoi village of Pallel for the alleged threat destroying the house of one headmaster of a school in the village if he does not pay Rs 2 lakhs within September 30.Addressing a press conference in connection with this at Pallel today, president of the organisation TK Anita informed that a team of 3rd IRB personnel in civvies led by one Jamander Budhichand Tamang came to the house of the headmaster of Thingkangbung Primary School identified as Thangpao Haokip on the night of September 26 and threaten that his house would be destroyed if he does not pay a sum of Rs 2 lakhs within September 30.The IRB team also demanded to know where underground activists are hiding and their weapons being concealed and told the family members that they should communicate about the payment of the monetary amount demanded on mobile phone no.9856762379, Anita said, while conveying that the family members of the headmaster are living in a state of fear after the threat of the IRB personnel.

The same IRB team had also beaten up the president of KSO Khengjoi block on September 9, Anita charged, adding that the IRB personnel have also been levying Rs 10 as entry tax from every vehicles.

So 3rd IRB personnel from Molnoi should be removed immediately and replced them personnel of a properly trained and disciplined force within October 10.Otherwise, All Tribal Women Organisation would be constraint to launch various intense agitation until the demand is met.
