Imphal, September 27: Member of Press Council of India Geetartha Pathak who arrived here today interacted with mediapersons to discuss the problems being faced by the journalists in Manipur in the light of threat and intimation over publication of certain news from outlawed organisations and the dos and don'ts issued by the Government.

Editor of ISTV Y Rupachandra, Editor of Imphal Free Press Pradeep Phanjoubam, Ibungochoubi of Manipur Mail, Anjulika Samom of North East Sun were among those who spoke and highlighted the nature of the problems being faced by mediapersons in Manipur during the interaction.

The visiting PCI member assured that the report would be take up for serious discuss at the meeting of the Press Council of India scheduled to be held at Gao from October 4 to 5.Mr Pathak also called on the Editor of The Sangai Express at the latter's office in the evening.
