Imphal, December 24: In connection with the 27th foundation day of Ougree Theatre Repertory, the Study Forum of the repertory, National Theatre and Literature Studies (NTLS) yesterday organised a discussion session on the theme of �Experiencing Manipur Theatre today� at the hall of Huyel Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association, Irilbung yesterday.

The discussion session was conducted with Prof IS Kangjam in the chair.

Principal of Huyel Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association G Gourakishore and State Kala Akademi Fellow and Manipuri Sahitya Parishad awardee Kh Borajao were also among those who graced the dais at the occasion.

Dr Kh Gokulchandra spoke on the topic of �Ethical issues on Khundongbam Brojendro�s play �Aroiba Meiri� and Director of Ougree Theatre Repertory Ranbir Mangang on �A simple theatrical journey: My experience�.

As part of the function, the drama �Numit Kappa� of Ougree Theatre Repertory was performed and afterward theatre critic Budha Chigtham and sub-editor of ISTV Ringku Khumukcham presented critical appreciation of the drama.
