The proscribed RPF and its armed wing the PLA have offered revolutionary salutes to its three cadres who laid down their lives fighting the Indian Army at Wakshu on the Indo-Myanmar border on June 14.The three slain cadres are Pte Sapam Kumar Singh alias Thoi alias Kameshor of Thoubal Leishangthem Keli Makhong Awang Leikai, Pte L Thomas alias Naoba alias Sanayaima of Salungpham Mamang Leikai and Pte Ch Rabichandra alias Nganba of Andro Kharam Leikai.
In a statement, RPF said that Rameshore joined the outfit on March 2, 2004, Sanayaima on May 5, 2005 and Nganba on June 11, 2005.The three faced the enemies boldly and sacrificed their lives for the cause of the land said the statement.
RPF also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family members and friends of the three departed souls.
