The first Multi-Media Campaign conducted by InterMedia Publicity Coordination Committee, Manipur which is under Information and Broadcasting Ministry for two-day at Sanpangjar in Churachandpur district concluded today.
Around 1700 people were given free medical treatment and medicines distributed free of cost during the campaign under the theme of National Rural Health Mission and Mother and Child Health.
Baby Sunanda of Nga-ngkha Lawai, Baby Sweetie of Churachandpur and Baby Robinson of Ngang-kha Lawai won the first, the second and the third positions respective in the healthy baby competition.
In the group dance competition, Kom Cultural Dance Troupe, Khoirentak won the first prize, Pangalba Immortal Theatre won the second prize and Gangte Dance Group won the third prize, Commanding Officer of Jat regiment Shantipuri and chairman of Inter-Media Publicity Co-ordination Committee M Kanankumar distributed prizes and certificates to the winners.
It may be noted here that the Multi Media Campaign is being jointly organised by IMPCC members, All India Radio, Press Information Bureau, Doordarshan Kendra Imphal, Food and Nutrition Extension Unit Imphal, PRO Defence, Field Publicity Office, Regional Health and Family Welfare, Song and Drama Division, Nehru Yuva Kendra and DAVP.
