Imphal, November 09: After having imparted necessary knowledge on administration through a 3-month long foundation course, State Academy of Training (SAT) has wished all the MCS, MPS, MFS and SDC probationers the very best in their future career and life.

The foundation course which had been underway at SAT, Takyelpat here since August 20 last concluded today.

The valedictory function was attended by Chief Secretary Jarnail Singh, Director General of the Academy V Ramnath and his staff.

Conveying best wishes to the probationers who would be going for further training at NIFM, Faridabad, the Chief Secretary and the DG expressed hoped that the probationers would perform their duties keeping the interest of the State in their mind all the time.

In his address to the gathering, Ramnath noted that even if one has to work as a public servant not for life, moral integrity is very important.

Chief Secretary Jarnail Singh observed that many shortcomings that may have been faced by the Academy during the course of imparting knowledge to the probationers should be taken note of for necessary rectification.

For the conveniences of the probationers, Manipur Bhavan at Delhi has been already informed about their arrival and lodging arrangement, the Chief Secretary said, while assuring that necessary arrangement would also made in case the probationers want to invite any important personality for giving a lecture during the course of their training at NIFM, Faridabad.

Sharing his experience gained during the foundation course, MCS probationary Ng Romen pledged that the present batch of probationers would never work against the prestige and reputation of the State, 'rather we would ensure that all those who come afterward look up to them with respect and pride'.

Another MCS probationary Bheigyashree Laishram expressed gratitude to the Chief Secretary, DG of SAT and other staff for the wonderful course imparted to them.

MFS probationer Kh Imokanta hoped that existing mutual co-operation and respect among the probationers would remain intact in future as well.

'Even if everybody says that Manipur is today filled with problems, we would try our best to solve these problems', he exuded confidence.
