Lt Gen Kulkarni presses IM to hand over accused

Imphal, January 14: Chairman of the Ceasefire Monitoring Group, Lt General (Retd) RV Kulkarni has approached the NSCN (IM) to hand over the main accused in the killing of Lungnila Elizabeth, James Kuki to the Ceasefire Monitoring Cell so that he may be handed over to the Manipur Government.

Confirming this, a well placed source said that the Chairman is pursuing the matter with great interest and he has urged the IM group to hand over the accused so that the Government of Manipur may continue due process of investigating the case.
