Imphal, January 13:
As part of its 'free medical for all' pursuit the Kangleipak Communist party (KCP) has warned of firm action against doctors found dereliction of duties while informing the medical personnel to rectify their conduct within January month.
A press release of Leingakleima Commission convenor Leingakleima Chanu stating that punitive action based on concrete evidence would be initiated against rogue doctors from February onwards appealed to all section of the society to provide information when-ever conduct of doctors are found undesired.
Informing the medical personnel to report at their respective place of posting by January month Chief Medical Officers of respective districts are also urged to furnish details of available man-power, infrastructure and well as requirements for cordial doctor-patient relationships.
The importance of declaring man-power and infrastructure is to ease financial burden upon the patient party who had to depend on private clinics for detail reports on condition of patients.
For streamlining administration and ensure maximum benefit to the general public RIMS and JN Hospital should lead exemplarily so that PHCs, CHCs and district level dispensaries could follow suit, observed the KCP.
