Imphal, November 18: Rajkumari Sanathoi Chanu of Manipur has been shortlisted among three young artistes of the country for consideration of the Pogo Amazing Kid Dancer Award 2006-07.The Award is being floated jointly by Turner International India Private Limited and television channels like the CNN, Cartoon Network, Pogo and HBO, said Federal Academy of Dance and Culture (FADAC), Imphal.

Sanathoi Chanu, winner of Balshree Award 2004-05 and Kalajeeb Puraskar Award 2005-06 conferred by National School of Theatre Arts, Visakhapatnam sealed the berth in the top three having scaled through the zonal, national, top ten and top five showdown among her peers.

Expressing elation on Sanathoi�s exploits reiterating Manipuri Jagoi�s prestigious position among the classical dances of India, FADAC informed that performances of the top three performers would be telecast live on Pogo channel on November 20 with the final outcome set to be announced in between December 8 to 10.Sanathoi left Imphal today for the final showdown to be held at Mumbai for which SMSs from the television viewers would be vital in deciding the winner, conveyed FADAC and appealed to State public to express their views through SMS.
