Imphal, October 18 2008:
The proscribed KCP has released its biannual journal Lanthengminnasi Eikhoi (April-October 2008-09), Vol II, Issue II.
The main topics of the issue include, (1) The Long March, (2) Yawol Khongchatta Yawolloigi Khongthang, (3) Bharatta Tilluraba Matungda Oirakpa Manipurgi Shaktam, (4) Manipurgi Manidi Kadaida Lei ? (5) Declaration of the Granting of Independence to the Colonial Countries and Peoples (6) Photogi Lamai and (7) Yawolloisingna Ngaakna Chatkadaba Wafamsing.
The editorial of the issue dealt exclusively on the inevitability of sustained and united struggle to address and solve any protracted and contentious issue.
Regarding revolutionary movement, the editorial stressed on the vitality of working sincerely with undivided concentration.
Any development in the revolutionary movement was manifested only after a long, hard struggle.
It observed that people seemed to be little aware of the underlying relationships between the credible and mature stage attained in a revolutionary movement and the collective struggle made to this effect.
Asserting that leadership of a few individual can never guarantee success in revolutionary movements, it observed that any revolutionary can attained its desired goal only when the united strength of the people struggled together for the common goal.
Even as certain revolutionary movements achieved success under the leadership of some individuals, the movement should always precede the leaders in importance and remain paramount.
The leaders too should correct their mistakes first and make up their flaws, it noted.
Maintaining that no revolutionary movement can be suppressed totally, the editorial observed that all revolutionary successes were fruits of sustained struggle and sacrifices made by each and every individual of a nation under a common aspiration and belief.
Observing that concentrating all the powers of an organisation in the hands of a few people is nothing but despotism, it asserted that such despotism often breeds corruption and insincerity.
Advocating distribution of power to all the branches of the organisation, it claimed that distribution of power to every layer of the organisation ensures coordination and unity.
In other words, distribution of power within the organisational set up guarantees a situation where "everyone is leader, no one is leader", exhorted the editorial.
