Election dates for Zeliangrong Baudi announces

Imphal, August 14 2010: The Zeliangrong Interim Body (ZIB) has announced dates for election of Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) for Imphal, South, Nungba and Senapati zones.

In a press release, Returning Officer, Election Commission, ZB (AMN) Dr Gaikhamsin Riamei informed that on August 19, 26 and 31 elections would be held for Imphal and Souther Zones, Nungba Zone and Senapati Zone respectively.

The press release said that election would be held for the post of convenor, co-convener, secretary, assistant secretary, finance secretary, social and cultural secretary, public relation secretary, information and publicity secretary, moral and religious secretary, treasurer and auditor.

The press release further appealed to all concerned Electoral College consisting of village chairmen and secretaries to participate in the said elections.
