From among the 664 graduate teachers appointed recently, two teachers have been found posted at TG Hr Sec School from where classes IX and X have already been deducted.
Moreover, one graduate teachers was posted in a Khangabok Primary School.
This was stated by DESAM general secretary LC Santosh during a press meet today.
He also identified the two graduate teachers posted at TG Hr Sec School as Konthoujam Priyokumar (Maths) and Ruchi Arora (general science) while the one posted at Khangabok Kha-Khundol P/S is H Shyamchandra.
As per the order issued by Commissioner Education (S) and ex-officio Director S Budhachandra on April 19, 662 graduate teachers were allotted their postings.
But then the actual number of teachers allotted postings was found to be 663, disclosed Santosh.
Further, one teacher was posted in three different places of postings while another was posted in two places one in hill district and another in the valley.
Asserting that there were cases of giving names of schools wrongly while allotting postings, Santosh observed that such irregularities might be result of unscrupulous officials and their sub-ordinate staff.
Nevertheless, it cannot be dismissed lightly for such abnormalities are large and numerous.
It can also be construed that the officials did it deliberately in their own personal interest, maintained Santosh.
Quoting Annexure A serial no 5, one Pukhrambam Babu Singh was posted at Johnstone Hr Sec school against L Budhichandra Singh Ningthoukhong H/S retired, noted Santosh.
Serial no 223 Remei Gaikhamlung was also posted at Jessami H/S against L Budhichandra Singh, Ningthoukhong H/S.He also mentioned some serial numbers who have been posted in two/three different places.
Taking strong exception to corrupt officials holding the post of Commissioner and Director of Education Department which would be a great loss to the future generations, DESAM appealed to the State Government not to install corrupt and tainted officials as Director/Commissioner in Education Department.
LC Santosh further remarked that tomorrow's Assembly session would answer the question whether there is any sincere leader who can acknowledge the importance of education.
Santosh further alleged that former Commissioner and ex-officio Director S Budhachandra in his efforts to cover many irregularities and wrong-doings, deceived the newly appointed teachers in the most blatant manner.
