Imphal, Aug 06:
Pledging to intensify its stir of closing down Government offices until the students of aided colleges are ensured regular classes, the Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) today produced the files confiscated by its volunteers from different Government offices.
Vice-president of MSF Md Atabuddin said that its drive to seal Government offices was launched in protest against the indifference of the State Government towards the plight of aided college students following the 45 days old cease-work stir of the All Manipur Government College Teachers' Association.
He reiterated that MSF would intensify its agitation until the State Government comes to an agreement with the agitating teachers so as to enable the aided college students attend regular classes.
Maintaining that the confiscated files and documents of Government offices would be kept safely until such an agreement is brought, the MSF vice-president disclosed that all the files and documents would be returned to the respective offices when the issue is resolved amicably.
