IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF PM Goud, IPS has inaugurated three newly constructed class rooms of Sanatan Sanskrit Vidyalaya located at Charhajar in Senapati district during a simple function as chief guest today.
The three class rooms were constructed by the 130 Bn CRPF as part of its Military Civic Action programme.
From out of the numerous proposals submitted for construction of the school buildings, the Battalion accepted the proposal of the Vidyalaya.
The construction of the three class rooms at an estimated cost of Rs 4.15 lakhs completed on August 27.Speaking at the occasion, the IGP announced that the arrangements are also being made for the construction of the fourth class room of the school.
He described the Civic Action programme as a bridge between the civilians and the military personnel.
Stating that public service is priceless and education is one area which should be given prime importance, Goud expressed serious concern over lack of moral education among the youngsters.
DIG NC Bhatt, Additional DIG MP Singh and Commandant of 130 CRPF DS Bains were also present at the occasion.
Cultural progammes were also presented by the villagers and jawans at the occasion.
