NBCC to meet fly over deadline

Imphal, November 08: With construction work of the fly over resuming after a lull, the NBCC is putting its best foot forward the meet the January deadline to complete the fly over.

Speaking to The Sangai Express at his office chamber today, Deputy Director Manager of the construction firm, SK Mittal said that the NBCC has set its eyes on meeting the deadline to complete the construction work of the fly over.

Construction work of the fly over started in July 2003 and the deadline set to complete the work was October this year.

The Deputy Director explained that the NBCC is the work agency while the contract work for constructing the same has been handed over to the Guwahati based Built Worth.

The fly over will cover a length of 400 metres and will have 20 pillars.
