Renegade UNLF man to face firing squad on Jan 16

Imphal, January 14: The Military Affairs Committee of the UNLF has decided to award capital punishment to Maibam Khuman Ngamba son M Tombi of Yairipok Malom Mamang Leikai for sexually molesting a girl child and severely assaulting her and her two younger brothers on January 8 at Kholmulen.

In a statement, the Chairman of MAC, Sana Yaima today said that Tombi will face a firing squad on January 16 at 4 pm for sexually molesting a girl child and for trying to desert the outfit along with an AK-56 rifle.

Tombi was an MPA cadre of the outfit and his army number was 1216.
