Imphal, Jun 22: General Officer in Commanding of 3 Corps Lt General ZU Shah, visited Manipur today to review the security situation in the State.

During his visit, the General was briefed by Commander 10 Sector AR at Ukhrul and GOC 57 Mountain Division Major General EJ Kochekan at Leimakhong.

At Mantripukhri, the Corps Commander was also briefed by IGAR (South) Major General BS Ghotra, said PID DW in a statement.

The General appreciated the untiring endeavours made by the troops to maintain an environment of peace and normalcy in the State.

The Corps Commander left for Dimapur at 12.30 pm today.
