The proscribed KYKL has offered revolutionary salutes to N Deban alias Shamba alias Nanao of Kangla Sangomsang, who was killed on May 8 at about 4.30 pm at Lamsang.
In a statement, the outfit said that Deban, who was the commander of a militia unit of the finance department fell into the hands of the enemy at the behest of some traitors.
Deban was arrested by the enemy forces while he was on his way to Uripok on May 8 at about 4 pm in connection with some work of the outfit, said the statement and added that while the KYKL was trying to find out who had arrested him, came the news of his death at about 4.30 pm.
Immediate action was taken up to verify who had collaborated for his arrest and death, said KYKL and added that till today, a number of things have become clear.
The collaborators will be given befitting punishment said KYKL and added that for the time being it will keep quiet as it could lead to some inconveniences at the present.
Deban was a true revolutionary who discharged his duties diligently and in his death, KYKL has suffered a huge loss, added the statement.
