Imphal, May 08: As follow up action of the two-day long open discussion on 'problems and constraint of development in the interior areas of Manipur' organised jointly by United Committee Manipur and People's Tribal Development Committee at State Guest House on April 19-20, a public meeting was held at Sagang Bazar Community hall yesterday to understand difficulties being faced by people living under Samulamlan block.

The meeting attended by a large number of villagers was graced by UCM president Konsam Langamba as chief guest, Sagang Area United Clubs' Assn president L Damkhupthang Kom as president and AMKIL president Ph Shakhi Leima, UCM secy gen O Hemanta, secy (orgn) W Second, secretary IPR BM Yaima as guests of honour.

The meeting held under the aegis of UCM, deliberated on a number of issues concerning the development or rather lack of development in Samulamlan block and decided to propose a joint meeting with the block level officials concerned of various Government Departments.
