Imphal, June 07: Publicity and Information secretary of Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) TH Misao has given the last warning to all concerned to stop extorting money in the name of the outfit from the Government departments, private shops and other Corporations and agencies in Imphal immediately.

Misao said despite the warnings that have been given in the past, some gangs operating in Imphal area still continue to extort money from the Government Departments, shops, corporations and other agencies by misusing the name of the outfit thereby tarnishing the image of KRA.

Those who are still indulging in extortion activities in Imphal area without the approval of Jonathan who is in-charge of finance of the outfit should stop immediately.

People should also not entertain monetary demand served without the signature of Jonathan, Misao said, adding that the outfit has entrusted task to all concerned for taking up necessary action against those who are still misusing the name of KRA.

Further, Misao asked one Lily alias Johan who allegedly has left the outfit to surrender to KRA along with a sum of Rs 2.50 lakhs which he had collected from one department in the name of KRA and one 9 mm pistol which is still in his possession.

Otherwise, along with revealing his real identity, names of his parents and the place where they stay, to the people, KRA would request all the underground organisations to award capital punishment to Johan wherever he is found, Misao added.
