AR gifts water supply scheme

Imphal, December 12: The 14 Assam Rifles authority under 27 Sector presented a water supply scheme to the people of Taphou Kuki under Senapati district.

The scheme encompasses provision for infrastructure and related equipment for supply of water from a nearby stream to around 1200 people, said PRO of IG AR (South) today.

In a simple function the CO of 14 AR handed over the necessary material to the village authority of Taphou Kuki, added the statement.

Ex-service men rally: A joint rally for Army ex-service men and ex-Assam Rifles personnel of Imphal East and West will be organised by 4 Assam Rifles at Mantripukhri on December 18 under the aegis 9 Sector AR, said a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (South).

All the participants will be given CSD facilities in addition to medical and dental checkup.
