Imphal, October 30: A poster contest on the theme 'Celebrate Peace' was organised yesterday at Bal Vidya Mandir Hr Sec School, Kongpal by the Lions Club of Imphal East, informed a press release issued by the Club.

The contest was won by Bedani Yumlembam of Bal Vidya Mandir Hr Sec School while the second prize was bagged by Nongthombam Newtanjit of Sacred Heart School, Porompat.

In another contest organised on the same theme by the Lions Club of Imphal East at the premises of Lainingthou Awangba, Khurai,Ksh Rajesh of Shantilata Memorial School won the first prize as Rahul Yumlembam of Brighter Academy won the 2nd position.

The winning posters of Bedani and Rajesh would be forwarded for next round of judging for international grand prize, said the release adding that prize distribution of today's poster contest would be held in December.
