Imphal, May 25: To protest the alleged molestation of Juliana Doungel after a vehicle collision on May 20 at RIMS Road, the Kuki Students' Organisation, Kuki Mothers' Association and Kuki Women Union have jointly given a one day general strike on May 29, said a KSO gen HQs release.

Meanwhile, referring to comments of kuki Inpi Manipur president P Gangte on the RIMS Road incident wherein he said that the genesis of the issue was a motor collission, president of Kuki Inpi Manipur C Doungel said "the issue involved in the incident of May 20, 2006 is honour of woman not only in my family but of all women in Manipur".

As only one side of the incident was highlighted till now, the demand is for truth was highlighted till now, the demand is for truth and justice, said C Doungel in a press statement that also referred to P Gangte as president of NGO registered Society called KIM.
