Lok Sabha MP Mani Charenamei has sent out warm Christmas greeting to the people of Manipur �as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the prince of peace�.
The Lok Sabha MP prayed that let love, respect and understanding grow among the people as we step into the New Year, 2008 and wishes the prosperous New Year to one and all.
The Kuki Students Organisation, (KSO-Ghq) and All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) while sending out a joint Christmas greetings and New Year wishes, have appealed every one both underground groups and the general public not to resort to any form of violence during Christmas time.
The Kuki and the Naga students� bodies jointly appealed fervently to all organisations to maintain peace and tranquillity and so that everyone can enjoy the Christmas celebration with their near and dear ones.
Christmas time is one special moment where the family members from far and near come together and share the joyous ocassion.
The KSO-ANSAM joint statement then prayed that let the good Lord Jesus Christ imbibe in everyone one of us the responsibility to follow His foot-steps to be the the torch bearers of peace, humility, gentleness, compassion and serve to restore the truth and justice in the society.
Paul Langhu and P Simte in a joint statement appealed all sections of the people to prepare to truely adhere to the teaching of Jesus Christ with the observation of Christmas.
�Let us burry the past bitterness, hatred and vengeance in the name of Christ,� stated the ANSAM-KSO statement.
