Bodies demand clarification

Apart from National President of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Railways Minister Lalu prasad Yadav a host of party leaders are likely to arrive in the State to galvanise support for RJD candidates in the ensuing 9th State Legislative Assembly elections.
Lalu is scheduled to reach Imphal on February 5 and is set to address public meetings at the residences of RJD nominees - W Nipamacha (Wangoi), Hellaluddin (Lilong) and S Natum (Sagolband) among other itineraries, informed RJD�s State unit general secretary N Ibohal Meitei.
�We are also planning to organise a public meeting with out President at BOAT,� the State RJD functionary said and added that exact number of days Lalu Prasad would stay has not been finalised as yet.
The State unit RJD is also informed to have intimated party�s national leaders to join in the Manipur poll campaign with favourable responses from the leaders among whom include vice president and Union Rural Development Minister Dr Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, general secretary and Union (Mos) Food and Public Distribution Dr Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Union (MoS) Water Resources Minister Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav and MP Prof Ramdeo Bhandari.
Ibohal also recalled of the party having fielded 31 candidates for the three phase polls to be held on February 8, 14 and 23.
