Imphal, September 26:
Aggrieved candidates who have appeared in the DPC for recruitment to the post of Constable in Manipur Police Department today gathered in front of the bungalow of the Chief Minister demanding declara- tion of the results of the DPC.
Any more further delayed in announcing the DPC result might also cause some problems in the process of recruitment of IRB personnel.
Talking to media-persons, the president of Manipur Police Constable DPC Faced Joint Action Committee said that the physical test for recruitment of the Constables was held on January 5 this year, the written test on February 6 and the DPC on February 15.In all 436 candidates have faced the DPC.
But the result of the DPC has not been declared till date.
As per a resolution of the JAC, which was formed on September 18, fervent appeals have been made through media to all concerned for declaring the results of the DPC within September 24 (i.e.yesterday).
But as the Govt has failed to give any positive response, the aggrieved candidates had gone to the submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister today, the JAC president informed.
The demands enumerated in the memo- randum include announcement of the DPC results within September 30 or else the JAC would take recourse to legal action and launched intense for of agitation.
