Two officials of DONER, namely Secretary Mrs Gauri Chaterji and Joint Secretary Dr Hari Krishna who are on a two-day visit to the State, yesterday inspected the developmental projects being taken up at RIMS.
Ms Chaterji was impressed by the progress and pace of the developmental works being taken up and said that she is happy that RIMS is at par with other prestigious medical institutions in the country, according to a statement issued by the media adviser of RIMS.
She also exhorted the RIMS doctors to work still harder in the service of the people.
The DONER official also urged RIMS Director Prof L Fimate to leave no stone unturned to expedite all the phase II projects being taken up under DONER at the institute.
She commented that despite being 35 years old, RIMS buildings are well maintained and congratulated the Director and other staff for it.
DONER officials inspected the Radiotherapy, Radio Diagnosis, Casualty, Telemedicine Centre, ICU, ICCU, Ante post Natal Wards, Medicine, OPD, College and Hostels, Jubilee Hall among others.
It may be recalled that 11th meeting of the Board of Society of RIMS was held on Wednesday in the office of Chief Minister along with representatives of DONER, NEC and beneficiary States.
