Imphal, April 19: Union Health Minister A Ramadoss would be visiting Imphal on May 13.However, even if the programmes of his visit has not yet been forwarded to the State Government, it is expected that on the first day of his visit, the Union Minister would be discussing progress of the National Rural Health Mission in the State along with the Health and Family Welfare Minister and important officials of the Department of the State Government.

After a night hold, the Union Minister would be inaugurating a newly constructed 36-bedded special ward at RIMS Hospital on May 14 .

Afterwards, the Union Minister is likely to hold discussion with the officials of RIMS on the developmental activities taking place in the premier health care institute.
