Imphal, April 13: Chief Minister O Ibobi met Governor Dr SS Sidhu at the Raj Bhavan today at around 4:15 pm.

Even though the agenda of the meeting could not be confirmed, it is speculated that the primary agenda of the meeting may have been law and order situation of the State and the impending SPF Ministry reshuffle.

On the other hand, convenor of SPF Legislature Party Dr M Nara has convened a meeting of the SPF Legislature Party at the conference hall of Chief Minister's secretariat at 5 pm of April 15.According to information received, besides serious deliberation on development programmes being taken up by the SPF Government is expected during the meeting, Chief Minister O Ibobi may seek the opinion of SPF members concerning ministry reshuffle even though it is not included in the agenda.

The impending ministry reshuffle may be effected after two/three days of the meeting following the resignation of Power Minister Gaikhangam from his ministership.

According to a reliable source, Minister Gaikhangam is making hectic completion of all pending files along with high ranking officials of his Department at his Babupara official quarter.

It may be recalled here that contrary to the Congress Party principle of �one man, one post�, Chief Minister O Ibobi had held post of president of MPCC for a prolonged period after which the MPCC presidency was handed over to Gaikhangam.

Gaikhangam again failed to honour his own party principle by clinging onto his ministership for six months now, causing widespread dissension among SPF members.
