Imphal, February 27: Suresh Huidrom has been awarded the Durian Society Interiors Design Awards, 2006 in the residential category of the interior designers' competition held at all India level.

Son of Iboyaima and Leibakleima of Khurai Chaithabi Leirak Salanthong, Suresh is an alumni of Exterior-Interiors Pvt Limited, Bangalore from where he completed his course in August, 2005.The finale organised by Society Interiors was held on Feb 11 at Hotel Grand Hyatt and the proceeding telecast live on Sony Max.

The design concept of the award winner was Instant Impact base on Asian influence in contemporary design which preserved Indian art.
