Imphal, January 27: Amidst the protests, allegations and counter allegations involving engineers,an MLA and social organisations with regard to the fund misuse of the ACA programme sactioned for the repairing works of Tamenglong mini secretariat and the renovation works of the SDC and SDO quarters at Tamei, the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region has claimed to have got hold of the recommendation letters allegedly written by the NSCN-IM leaders asking the Chief Engineer,Additional Chief Engineer and Superintendent Engineer of the PWD to award the various contract works to some particular persons including the above mentioned two renovation works under the ACA programme in Tamenglong district, reports NNN.

The information and publicity secretary of the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region today stated that NSCN-IM deputy kilonser (minister) for Chaplee (finance) K Kaping had written a letter to the PWD Chief Engineer on December-5,2005 to award contract works to one G Kakhangai Kabui for the improvement works of sub-divisional headquarter at Nungba,TML district under ACA fund,to repair the Khoupum IB to Rengpang road under the SPA fund and to repair the Zoutek to Thangal road under ACA programme.The alleged recommendation letters of the NSCN-IM leaders were also produced before the media.

The NSCN-IM deputy kilonser of finance also wrote a letter to GTonsana Addtional Chief Engineer, last year to award a contract work to one G.Panmei for the construction of a DIET centre at Tamei under Tamenglong district according to the documents furnished by the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region while talking to the media today.

The deputy kilonser wrote another letter to the Additional Chief Engineer to award the contruction work of a bus terminus at Noney/Longmai to one Ajon Gonmei on December-10, 2005,according to the NSCN-K of the Zeliangrong Region.

K Kaping then wrote a letter to the Chief Engineer of Manipur on September-6,2005 for awarding the work of the improvement of residential bungalow of SDC at Kuilong under Tamei subdivision and also for the improvement work of SDC office at Tousem under TML district to a person mentioned as "bearer of this letter" under ACA fund.He then wrote to the Chief Engineer to award repairing work of road from Tamenglong's District Hospital Junction to IB Bazar to one Kairigin on Jan21, 2006,according to the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region.

The NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region also brought out another recommendation letters of K.Kaping who is the deputy kilonser of Chaplee (Finance) who then wrote to the Chief Engineer on Oct-10,2005 for awarding a work to one Akhiu for the improvement work of road from Tamenglong College to Khongsang and for the constrution/reconstruction of SDO office at Tamenglong HQ and the improvement work of SDO office at Tousem.

According to the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region, CAO of Zeliangrong Region belonging to the NSCN-IM identified as Karuchung Phaomei wrote to S.E Irabot for awarding contract work to one Ch Rajen for improvement of road from TML District Hospital Junction to IB Bazar on December-23,2005. One Under Secretary of the outfit JK Pamei wrote to the Chief Engineer on November-29,2005 for awarding work to one K.Panmei for the reconstruction of DC office of TML HQ, according to the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region.

One L.Gonmei,Regional Authority of the outfit wrote to the Chief Engineer of Manipur to award work for Kadilui Panmei for repairing work of SDO office,TML under ACA programme,according to the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region.

Another document produced by the NSCN-K,Zeliangrong Region has shown that Karuchung Phaomei,NSCN-IM CAO,Zeliangrong Region wrote to SE Irabot for awarding work to one Keibamdei Panmei for the improving road from TML Town Church to TML College,improvement work of road from TML District Hospital Junction to IB Bazar of TML and improvement work of road from TML to Khongsang to TML College.

One Captain Hermit of the outfit wrote to the SE on December-19,2005 to award work to one Biren for constructing bus terminus/toilet/urinal at TML, according to the document produced by the NSCN-K.MK Winning,Tartar (MP) of the NSCN-IM wrote to the Chief Engineer for awarding the contruction to D.Achong regarding the SDC residential bungalow at Kuilong under Tamei subdivision under ACA fund on November-25,2005, according to another document produced by the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region.

One Aking Daimai,Convenor of the outfit's Works for TML District wrote to Addtional Chief Engineer for awarding work to one Ch.Rajen Singh for the improvement work of IT road between TML HQ and Sonpram.
