Rally to decry killing today

Imphal, January 03: To protest the killing of L Gobin Singh, Canoeing and Kayaking Trainee of RCC Youth Affairs and Sports by unidentified gunmen on December 31 night at North AOC the, Regular Coaching Centre, Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex will stage a protest rally from 7 am tomorrow.

The rally will start from the Indoor Stadium of Khuman Lampak, informed a statement.

The Citizens Club along with the Eastern Radiant Organisation adopted three point resolutions during a meeting held today in connection with the North AOC gun attack.

The resolutions include, to form a JAC and launch a series of agitation until and unless the perpetrators of the crime are punished, to galvanise the people of Manipur and seek their co-operation, the Government should meet the medical expenses of Langamba who is undergoing treatment.

The meeting also strongly condemned the threat issued by unidentified persons to take Langamba home after he was injured.
