Imphal, December 12: As per the resolution adopted in the general assembly of the Interim Council, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) held on December 10, the election of the Tangkhul students' body for the post of its president, speaker and deputy speaker would be held on December 15.According to a notification issued by chief election commissioner of TKS, the issue and filing of nomination paper for the said posts began from today and would close at noon of December 14.The withdrawal of nomination paper and closing of campaign would be till 4 pm of December 14.On the same day, the registration and issue of coupon to the voters would also begin from 10 am till 11 am of December 15. The casting of the vote would be done from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm on December 15 and the counting of the votes at 4 pm, after which results would be declared to be followed by oath taking function, the notification said.
