As a gesture of appreciation to the local people for extending their support and help to the 37 day free drug de-addiction camp, the Committee for Drug Abuse Prevention organised a free medical camp at Don Bosco School, Chingmeirong today.
In a statement, CODAP said that around 100 people were treated at the medical camp.
Dr Th Rajendro, Dr H Angangmacha and Dr RK Niranjan treated the patients.
As part of the deaddiction drive, Dr Dhanabir Laishram, Ningthouja Lancha and Dr W Nabakumar delivered lectures at the camp on January 21, added CODAP.
The closing function of the camp will be held on January, said the statement and added that PHED Minister K Govindas, MLA N Biren, Director of Social Welfare Dept S Nabachandra, social worker A Rajen, Project Director MACS G Binodkumar, Jt Director YAS M Pahari will attend the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
The clients will leave the camp by 3 pm of January 25, said CODAP and asked the guardians to take back their wards on time.
