'Door is wide open for those who have left the KLO/KLA while efforts were being made to reorganize the outfit to come back and work together as one', PRO of KLA Wing-I S Simon has stated.
Talking to mediapersons somewhere in Sadar Hills area today morning, Simon explained that KLO/KLA does not believe in terrorising women and children, overpowering the weak and kidnapping innocent persons for ransom.
On the contrary, KLO/KLA believes in the spirit of living and working together with mutual respect for each others' religion, tradition and custom.

'We are one and we would definitely come together as one some day', he expressed confidence, while assuring that KLO/KLA would work to protect the territorial integrity of the State.
So the door is wide open for all those who have left the fold of the outfit while effort for reorganisation could be completed to come back and work together as one, Simon said, adding that the '10 persons recently killed at Tangkhul Hundung are our own people'.
The Kuki Inpi and KSO have given the assurance of taking up necessary steps for resolving the matter through Kuki customary law, Simon informed.
Meanwhile, the central cabinet committee of the KLO/KLA has reorganise its administrative and arms department with effect from August 24 last.
According to a statement signed by information and publicity secretary of the outfit Armstrong Kuki, in administrative department, J Jeniffer Haokip has been appointed as administrative secretary, Simon Singson as headquarters PRO, Ngambom Kuki as chief finance in-charge of Imphal East and West, Armstrong Gangte as secretary information and publicity, Galngam Kuki as project officer, TL Isaac as division-I finance in-charge of Sadar Hills, Senapati and Ukhrul, J Singson as division-II finance in-charge of CCpur, Bishnupur and Tamenglong and Helun Brandon as division-III finance in-charge of Chandel, Moreh and Thoubal.
In the arms department, Gaulien alias Stephen Kuki has been appointed as commander-in-chief and Khaikam alias TK Kuki as deputy commander-in-chief.
The statement further informed that the public should not be confused with the activities of other armed groups functioning in the name of KLA which come from NC Hills in Assam.
The KLA from Assam has also been asked to desist from creating any misunderstanding between the various tribes in Manipur.
